Drexel Hill Saute Brings Global Flavors with Aug. 1 Opening

Marcus and Jessa Hyman stand in front of their new take-out restaurant, Drexel Hill Sauté, at 4617 State Rd. in Drexel Hill.

Drexel Hill Saute, a new takeout eatery at 4617 State Road in Drexel Hill, will offer patrons a build-your-own menu of stir-fry and saute dishes when it opens on Friday, Aug. 1, writes Peg DeGrassa for the Daily Times.

The takeout spot is at the location of the former Green Herb Thai Cuisine.

Guests choose a base—pasta, rice, or potatoes—then choose from international sauces, proteins, vegetables, and toppings.

The restaurant covers Italian, Thai, Cajun, French, Caribbean, and American cuisines, all made to order with fresh ingredients.

There is also a rotating menu of homemade cakes and in-house, fruit-blended iced teas.

“We wanted to create a place where people can order a variety of different foods from a single location,” said Jessa Hyman, who owns the restaurant with her husband, Marcus Hyman. “Maybe your partner feels like Italian, but you’re craving Thai — now you can both get what you want from the same kitchen. We’ve got something for everyone!”

The husband and wife culinary team live in Aldan. Marcus is a 2013 graduate of Academy Park High School. Jessa is a Class of 2015 graduate of Ridley High School.

Orders are available for pickup and delivery.
