Power Home Remodeling Expanding Chester Headquarters, 100s to be Hired

The Wharf at Rivertown in Chester, the soon-to-be-expanded headquarters for Power Home Remodeling.

Power Home Remodeling has signed a 250,000 square-foot lease in Chester as it looks to expand its headquarters there, writes Ryan Mulligan for Philadelphia Business Journal.

The expansion will also mean hiring 300 to 400 new workers.

The 12-year lease adds 65,000 square feet to Power’s headquarters at the Wharf at Rivertown, the former Delaware County Power Plant redeveloped by Buccini Pollin Group and owned by the Philadelphia Union.

Power will add Turbine Hall to its four floors of office space and outfit it for training sessions, conferences, and company events. The refurbishment is expected to take two years and involve a multi-million-dollar investment. Philadelphia-based Tantillo Architecture is designing it.

“We’re really excited to revitalize it because it’s just been sitting dormant for too long,” said Power co-founder Adam Kaliner. “It’s a showpiece that we’re excited to use for ourselves, selfishly, but also show people what is possible for corporate headquarters.”

Power hosts weekly training programs and workshops. The new Chester space will enable the company to bring employees from 25 territories to a dedicated training area.

Turbine Hall, with its 65-foot ceilings and mezzanine, will have a large auditorium, offices, and training rooms.
