Power Home Remodeling, headquartered in Chester, is expanding into the Orlando, Florida area, writes Steven Ryzewski for Orlando Business Journal.

An entity related to Power Home Remodeling Group LLC paid $7.05 million to JRC Lee Vista Investors LLC to acquire part of an office property in the Orlando area.

The property last traded hands in 2019 for $14.84 million.

The company is buying the western portion of a 16-acre property, including a 30,000-square-foot single-story office building.

A Power Home Remodeling spokesperson confirmed the group is entering the Central Florida market but declined further comment since the company is in the early expansion stages.

Power Home Remodeling, among the nation’s largest home remodelers, focuses on energy-efficient windows, doors, insulation, and other exterior modifications.

The company now has offices in 22 states and in Washington, D.C.

It has made Fortune’s list of 100 best companies to work for several times.  About 3,000 people work there.

It reported annual revenue of $825 million in 2021.

There is a demand now for contractors and real estate businesses as home values continue to increase in the Orlando metro area, keeping homeowners in place and renovating their properties.
