Delaware County first-ever Delco Gives Day, hosted by The Foundation for Delaware County on May 8-9, now has a presenting sponsor–Power Home Remodeling (“POWER”).

“POWER has called Delaware County our home for the last 19 years, and in that time, we have challenged ourselves to live our purpose and help realize the potential of this community,” said Adam Kaliner, co-founder of POWER.

Kaliner said that with more than 20 percent of the employees at Power Home Remodeling’s headquarters in Chester living within Delaware County it makes sense to partner on the inaugural Delco Gives Day “and help stand alongside local nonprofits making a meaningful impact in our own backyard.”

Foundation President Frances M. Sheehan said she’s grateful to Power Home’s commitment to the 200+ nonprofits in Delaware County.

“They are supporting our community in such a big way, offering not just their dollars, but also their time and expertise,” she said.

Teams from Power Home Remodeling have been working with the Making a Change Group and the Chester Upland Youth Soccer to put together a block party on May 8 to celebrate Delco Gives Day and the community.
