If you’re looking to go back in time but want to stay close to home, you might want to visit the historic Inn at Grace Winery in Glen Mills, reports Jessica Boyington for 6abc.

The restored property traces its roots back to the 1700s and its owner, Chris LeVine, is the nephew of Grace Kelly, the Princess of Monaco.

The property is situated on 35 acres in the historic Brandywine Valley. Formerly Sweetwater Farm, Grace LeVine purchased the property in 1999.

The grounds of this bucolic winery setting are properly manicured. Farm animals and chirping birds provide an atmosphere.

You can reserve one of six inns on the property, which includes a pool and a fine dining restaurant.

“I want to have my birthday here. I want to get married here,” Boyington said as she sampled a local vintage.

There’s a French influence on the 10 varieties of red, white, and sparkling from winemaker Andrew Yingst.

Executive Chef Dan Wood promises some nice accompaniments to the wine, including a truffle mushroom flatbread and, says Boyington, “the most gorgeous charcuterie board that I’ve ever seen in my life!”
