Now that restrictions are lifting in the area you are probably thinking about getting out more often. But it might be a little hard to get ideas when word of mouth probably isn’t too helpful right now. So maybe you’re unaware that Delaware County actually has over 20 pubs and wineries in and around the county.

You can download the 2021 Guide to Delaware County’s Brew Pubs and Wineries from this page to find the closest spots to you. But here are some ideas to start you off.

If you are looking for a lot of options, heading to Media is your best bet, as they have the most choices with two brewpubs. This includes the Iron Hill Brewery and Sterling Pig Brewery. Other choices include Conshohocken Brewing on Benedick Avenue in Havertown or the “always passionate, never pretentious 2SPBrewing on Concord Road in Aston.

If it’s wineries that appeal to you, Chadds Ford is definitely the spot to check out. Not only does Chadds Ford have three wineries, but it actually is one of only two areas in Delaware County with major wineries to visit. You’ll find the Chaddsford Winery, Byrsa Winery, and the Penns Woods Winery.

The only other major winery to be found in the county is in Glen Mills, and that is Grace Winery. But this location offers more than just drinks, with the option to book a room at the scenic Inn at Grace Winery in the manor or one of the cottage houses.

The Inn also has its own chef who can provide you with daily breakfast and even a three-course dinner in the manor house.

Each pub or winery is sure to have something special to offer, so dare to experiment. Download the full list of pubs and wineries across Delaware County to find their addresses and contact information so you can start your search for your favorite spot.
