See Where COVID-19 Is Spreading the Most and Least This Week in Delaware County

The percentage increase of new COVID-19 cases in all Zip codes in Delaware County were lower the week prior to Feb. 17, compared to previous weeks.

Some ZIP Codes and communities of Delaware County saw more new COVID-19 cases last week than others, write Sean Adams and Megan Lavey-Heaton for the Harrisburg Patriot-News.

Zip code 19319 covering Cheyney Township saw the largest percentage increase, at 5.6%. It saw 1 case added for a total of 19 cases.

Zip code 19076, covering Prospect Park, was second largest. It saw a 3.65% increase, adding 20 new cases for a total of 568.

Third largest was Zip code 19085, covering Villanova. It saw a 3.55% increase, with 10 new cases added for a total of 292.

Fourth largest was Zip code 19061, covering Boothwyn, Linwood, Ogden, Marcus Hook and Trainer. It had a3.35% increase with 36 new cases added for a total of 1,111.

Fifth largest were Zip codes 19010 (Bryn Mawr) and 19094 (Woodlyn). Both saw 3% increases. Bryn Maw had 28 new cases for a total of 939. Woodlyn had 11 new cases for a total of 338.

The lowest percentage increase was registered in Zip code 19017 (Chester Heights) which had no new cases. Its current total is 20.

Second lowest was Zip code 19079, covering Sharon Hill. It increased .61 percent, with 4 new cases for a total of 659.

Next was 19078 ((Ridley Park) which saw a .74% increase, with 6 new cases for a total of 816.

Fourth lowest was Zip code 19022, covering Crum Lynne, Chester and Eddystone. It saw a .8% increase in cases. It had 2 new cases for a total of 246.

Zip code 19070, covering Morton, came in fifth lowest, at .86%, with 4 new cases for a total of 469.

These latest numbers are compiled by the Pennsylvania Department of Health.
