Havertown’s GS Architects has been acquired by Spiezle Architectural Group, a full-service firm with locations in Media and Trenton, N.J.

Spiezle will use this strategic acquisition to leverage the strengths of GS Architects and extend its service portfolio by integrating GS’s expertise in healthcare studio and interior design. The move should expand Spiezle’s presence in southeastern Pennsylvania.

The combined firm now has a team of 60 professionals with extensive architectural, planning, and interior design expertise in fields that include K-12 education, higher education, healthcare, and senior care.

“The GS Architects’ world-class expertise and unparalleled commitment to service were the conclusive factors that enticed us to pursue the acquisition,” said Thomas Perrino, Spiezle’s interim CEO.

GS Architects will become a division of Spiezle Architectural Group and continue to operate under its current name. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
