Full- and Part-Time Servers
Freedom Village at Brandywine is seeking full- and part-time dining room servers for day and evening shifts starting at $14 an hour.
Server positions are available for those with a positive attitude, who enjoy being a team player and who have with waiting tables, bussing tables, and delivering fine dining customer service.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Always exemplify Community standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization.
- Responsible for adhering to food quality, appearance, and presentation standards always.
- Exhibit dining room appearance and presentation standards always.
- Exhibit serving standards of speed, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Set tables and maintain workstations in proper order. Take orders, provide service, and request items both graciously and courteously. Answer pertinent questions about menu items.
- Clear dishes from tables during and after meal service, assist with dish washing, and reset tables.
- Serve customers using proper serving etiquette and promote an inviting dining atmosphere.
- Knowledge of diets provided and served correctly per Policy and Procedure.
- Represent the community in a warm and inviting manner, which creates a positive marketing environment.
Qualifications:
- Minimum completion of sophomore year in high school required.
- Experience in food service work preferred.
- Experience in working with seniors is preferred.

Part-Time Driver
Freedom Village at Brandywine is recruiting for a hospitality-focused driver to join its team. This position is per diem/as-needed. This position is responsible for transporting residents to the grocery store, monthly outings, and extended trips as scheduled; assists in performing housekeeping duties as required.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Drive van, bus, or automobile on a regular schedule to meet resident needs.
- Assist the Director of Life Enrichment or the Life Enrichment Coordinator in assisting residents on and off the bus/van, tracking attendance, and coordinating equipment (walkers, wheelchairs, canes, etc.).
- Load groceries and other purchased items into the bus/van.
- Schedule and coordinate routine vehicle maintenance.
- Clean and wash the vehicle.
- May perform housekeeping functions as directed.
- Supports creating a culture where the business decisions made in this position, along with individual employee engagement, drive top-line revenue and occupancy.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum six (6) months of experience as a bus/van driver required.
- Valid Driver’s License.

Part-Time Plant Operations Technician
Freedom Village at Brandywine is recruiting for a per diem hospitality-focused Plant Operations Technician to join its team.
The Plant Operations Technician (Maintenance) is responsible for the overall upkeep of residential apartments and public areas through responsive, accurate, and efficient maintenance. This will be accomplished by performing simple tasks that require the application of general maintenance and repair techniques, materials, tools, and equipment. The Maintenance Tech serves as a member of the Maintenance team that is responsible for the physical condition of all buildings on campus.
