Pennsylvania’s 50 Richest Neighborhoods Include 5 In Delaware County

Luxurious homes, top schools, and exclusive amenities are clear signs you’re in one of Pennsylvania’s richest neighborhoods.

Delaware County’s got a few of those, according to Liz Flynn, writing for Money Inc.

Among Pennsylvania’s 50 richest neighborhoods, five are in Delaware County.

The state’s ninth-wealthiest neighborhood is Villanova. The neighborhood hosts luxurious estates and upscale residences, with wealthy professionals and successful business owners calling it home.

Haverford comes in 12th on the list of 50. Its median household income is well above the national average. The community is known for large, well-maintained homes and sprawling estates, and home values exceed state and national averages.

Radnor, at 14th, offers a mix of rural charm and urban convenience. It is a neighborhood of historic mansions and modern custom-built houses. It also boasts well-maintained public spaces and infrastructure.

Swarthmore, at 16th, has a blend of historic homes and modern estates, along tree-lined streets. The town center features upscale boutiques, gourmet restaurants, and cultural amenities. Residents also enjoy well-maintained parks and recreational facilities.

Concordville is an unincorporated area in Concord Township with a high median household income and many custom-built single-family homes. The neighborhood is known for having well-maintained properties and spacious lots.
