Three Delaware County communities were among those that had the most expensive homes in Pennsylvania, according to a list compiled by Stacker.
Using data from Zillow, the most expensive homes came out of Media Borough, Garnet Valley, and Glen Mills as of November 2025.
In Media Borough, a typical home value was $612,785. Home prices have risen 4.7 percent over the past year and 38.4 percent over the past five years.
The typical home value in Garnet Valley was $666,151. Home prices have risen 3.8 percent over one year and 47 percent over five years.
The typical home value in Glen Mills is $672,542. It has seen a 5.4 percent rise in prices over one year and 44.3 percent over five years.
An average home value in the United States in November was $360,782, .2 percent higher than the year before.
Homeowners are also contending with high mortgage rates. As of Dec. 18, mortgage rates for a 30-year fixed mortgage were 6.21 percent.
Though home prices are up everywhere, some communities have seen higher price tags. Location, size, age, and the home’s condition all play a role in the property’s price.
