Booster Katie Paschall Cheerleads for Delaware County Tourism

Delaware County's Katie Paschall points to all that Delaware County has to offer visitors, without the big city buzz of Philadelphia.

Delaware County offers a lot of what tourists and business travelers can find in the city of Philadelphia, but without the big city buzz, said Katie Paschall, director of sales for Visit Delco.

“I believe Delaware County’s charm lies in its balance of community, history and accessibility,” she said, during a Q & A with Philadelphia Business Journal.

Paschall has 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry. She has built a successful career in sales and business development and was instrumental in opening the Hilton Garden in Newtown Square.

She’s been Visit Delco’s director of sales and partnerships since November 2023, promoting meetings and events, fostering business relationships, and strengthening hotel partnerships in Delaware County.

A proud Delaware County resident, she’s happy to point out all that the county has to offer.

Delaware County is in a perfect spot, she said, minutes from Center City, the airport, and 90 minutes from the Jersey Shore.

Yet there’s a personal hometown feel here, as Delco delivers its vast history pre-dating the Revolutionary War, along with culture, entertainment and a vibrant food scene.
