The 40-room Brandywine River Hotel in Chadds Ford and the 26-key Brinton Suites located three miles further east are both being sold, writes Emma Dooling for Philadelphia Business Journal.
Chic Management Group in Huntington Valley has put both hotels up for sale. The Brandywine listing price is $5.5 million, while the listing price for Brinton Suites is $4.25 million.
Real estate investor Celso Leite owns the management group that acquired the Delaware County hotels.
Chic acquired Brinton Suites first for $2.02 million in June 2021, then bought Brandywine River Hotel for $3.2 million two years later in February 2023.
The Brandywine River Hotel, at 1609 Baltimore Pike, was built in 1987. The main two-story hotel on the 2.42-acre lot is in a 25,771-square-foot building and also has 968 square feet of meeting space, a business center, and a fitness center.
Brinton Suites, at 1516 Wilmington Pike, was built around 1990. It is in a two-story, 11,500-square-foot building on a 4.42-acre lot.
According to the listing, a buyer could add a self-storage facility on the open land.
Brinton Suites is along Route 202 near the Village at Painters’ Crossings Shopping Center.
