The Crumble Factory on Delmar Drive in Folcroft has taken a surprisingly simple combination and made it delicious, reports Bob Kelly for Fox 29.

A tantalizing mix of vanilla wafer, bananas and banana cream pudding has expanded into other combinations at the dessert store.

“We take crumbled up cake and crumbled up cookies and mix it with America’s favorite desserts, such as banana pudding or cheesecakes and then we put it all in one, and then you have a Crumble,” said owner Tanesha Jordan.

The Crumble products are handmade and can be ordered online or purchased at the store.  The Crumble Factory also services 52 stores wholesale. Its products can be found in local stores, in the Northeast and in Delaware.

Jordan, who loves banana pudding, used to give the pudding as a free bonus when customers bought a dessert platter.

“Everyone started raving about the banana pudding and suggested that we sell it,” she said.

Now it’s their main items.  

Some Crumble options include a Lemon Cake Crumble, a Happy Birthday Cake Crumble and a Lotus Bomb Cheesecake Crumble. There’s also a gluten free alternative.
