Some of the top bakeries in the region are in Delaware County or nearby who are happy to accommodate those on a gluten-free diet.

Sophisticakes at 4824 Drexelbrook Drive in Drexel Hill hosts some of the most talented cake designers and decorators in the region. 

Pre-made gluten-free cakes, cupcakes, and pastries sell quickly, so call in advance for specialty pastries that include egg-free or dairy-free.

Up on the Main Line, The Bakery House at 604 W. Lancaster Ave. in Bryn Mawr is a Best of Main Line winner in 2022 for custom cookies.  They feature gluten-free chocolate chip cookies and brownies.

Aux Petites Delices at 162 Lancaster Ave. in Wayne has a variety of gluten-free products. Made-to-order gluten-free items include tiramisu, chocolate raspberry mousse, and Marjolaine pastries. You can also call in advance to order gluten-free cakes.

Hope’s Cookies at 11w5 W. Lancaster Ave. in Bryn Mawr sells gluten-free chocolate chip and snickerdoodle cookies.  Local delivery is available through GrubHub, DoorDash, and Uber Eats.
