CCRES staff work in the behavioral health field, working in schools, homes, and the community.

CCRES, Downingtown, provides over 1,500 professional behavioral health career staff to meet the needs of children and adults challenged by autism, behavioral health issues, mental illness, intellectual/developmental disabilities, and physical disabilities.

It collaborates with school districts, intermediate units, and the behavioral health system.

The following CCRES jobs are currently available.

Personal Care Assistant (PCA)

The Personal Care Assistant (PCA) is a field employee position, working all student days, 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM (secondary) or 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM (elementary) during the school calendar year with assignments available throughout Chester County area school districts as well as in a Chester County Intermediate Unit Child and Career Development Center or CCIU’s Learning Center.

The starting rate for this role is a generous $22 per hour and progresses to $25.50 per hour.

PCAs provide one-to-one assistance to children/adolescents with emotional and behavioral disorders in the school setting based on the client’s medical needs.

Prompt intervention is also key in addressing behavior management, conflict resolution, and anger management issues.

Success in this career also hinges on peer interaction skills based on IEP goals or school-supplied behavioral treatment plans provided by school officials or a Behavior Specialist Consultant

Behavior Consultant – King of Prussia

The Behavior Consultant (BC-ABA) is an independent contract position and a member of an interdisciplinary clinical team working in Montgomery County:

Behavior Consultant clinicians may work during school, after school, or evening hours depending on county program needs. The position does include flexible scheduling for a work/life balance.

The Behavior Consultant will:

  • Write and monitor individual treatment plans for children diagnosed with behavioral and mental health disorders.
  • Assist in developing adaptive skills for the diagnosed child to take a more positive role in the school, home, and community setting.
  • Provide prescribed behavioral consultation to the family and/or school.
  • Train the Behavior Health Technician (BHT) on appropriate therapeutic interventions.
  • Write Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA).
  • Cases are typically authorized 2- 3 hours per week for each client’s family based on medical necessity and can build a caseload of multiple clients.

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Master’s Degree in applied behavior analysis (ABA) or a related program AND PA License in one of the following: Psychologist, Professional Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist, Clinical Social Worker, Social Worker, Behavior Specialist, Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner:
  • AND At least 12 credits in ABA from a college/university and one year of full-time experience providing ABA
  • OR At least one year of full-time experience in the provision of ABA under the supervision of a BCBA or similar certification and 40 hours of training in ABA.
  • PA Child Abuse (Act 151) Clearance
  • PA Criminal (Act 34) Clearance
  • FBI Department of Human Service background clearance – Service code: 1KG738
  • TB screening – current within three months
  • Professional Liability Insurance
  • PA Licensed Psychologist, Professional Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist, Clinical Social Worker, Social Worker, Behavior Specialist, Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner – license must be active.

Behavior Analyst — Downingtown, Chester County

The Behavior Analyst /BCBA is an independent contract position and an interdisciplinary clinical team member working in Chester County.
