Meet Rachelle Acevedo, a CCRES Behavioral Health Technician

Rachelle Acevedo has been a behavioral health technician with CCRES since November 2021.

The Behavioral Health Technician is a home and community-based professional who works with other professionals to support students with social, emotional, and behavioral concerns.

Rachelle Acevedo has worked for CCRES since 2021.

The Behavioral Health Technician provides one-on-one emotional and behavioral support to children and adolescents. They implement behavioral treatment plan goals and document the child or adolescent’s daily progress.

Services can be provided in school, at home, or in a community setting.

Acevado said her role allows her to work with all types of people, and she has been able to make long-lasting connections with the community.

” I am caring and empathic and try my best to give 100 percent in everything I do,” she said. “I have always wanted to have a job where I could help make a difference, and at CCRES, I have been able to.”

She’s looking to continue her education and career and grow within the CCRES organization.

Outside of work, Rachelle Acevedo loves to paint and enjoys spending free time with her family and friends.

CRES is a non-profit human resources organization that partners with intermediate units, school districts, and behavioral health programs to provide support staff working with children and adults with special needs.
