Delaware County home values are expected to rise the most in four ZIP Codes in 2024, writes Ryan Mulligan for Philadelphia Business Journal.

They are included in a list of 15 Philadelphia-area ZIP Codes expected to see the most home value change this year.

Making the Delaware County list are the communities of Upper Darby, Collingdale, Chester, and Sharon Hill. 

The Upper Darby ZIP Code 19082 was third on the list, with a projected 3.8 percent increase in home values expected in 2024.

Next was the Collingdale ZIP Code 19023, appearing sixth on the list, expected to see a 3.7 percent rise in home values.

Those are followed by Chester’s ZIP Code 19013 (13^th) with a 3.4 percent increase in value; and Sharon Hill’s ZIP Code 19079 ( 14^th) with a 3.4 percent rise in home values this year.

For the Philadelphia Metro Area, the current median home value of $342,000 is expected to increase by 3.1 percent, according to Zillow.

For Delaware County home values and elsewhere in the Philadelphia Metro Area, Zillow looked at property data that includes sales, tax assessment, square footage, and location to document and predict market trends.
