3 Billionaires Reside in or Near Delaware County. According to Forbes List

Haverford resident Jeff Yass, co-founder and CEO of Susquehanna International Group, made the top of a list of 11 Philadelphia-area residents on Forbes’ list of billionaires, writes Ryan Mulligan for Philadelphia Business Journal.

Yass has a net worth of $12 billion. He ranks No. 156 on the 2022 World’s Billionaires list released Tuesday.

Yass  grew his trading firm into one of the largest on Wall Street, valued at $2.6 trillion.

Next up was Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin, from Bryn Mawr, whose wealth expanded from $3.5 billion in 2021 to $8 billion in 2022. He jumped on the Forbes list from 859 last year to 284 this year.

Fanatics has acquired Topps baseball card and vintage sports apparel company Mitchell & Ness.

He is part-owner of the Philadelphia 76ers.

Victoria Mars out of Newtown Square holds the No. 288 spot on the list. She is the great-granddaughter of Frank Mars, founder of the candy and food conglomerate Mars Inc.  She has a net worth of $7.9 billion.

The top four spots on the Forbes list were held by the same billionaires as last year– Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, Bernard Arnault and Bill Gates.
