Internationally, there are now 3,428 billionaires, with 390 added this year.
That’s according to the annual World’s Billionaires List published by Forbes, writes Ryan Mulligan for Philadelphia Business Journal.
Victoria Mars in Newtown Square is heir to the Mars, Inc. candy and pet food company. She ranked 245 with a $12.3 billion net worth, down from No. 235 last year, though her wealth increased from $10.7 billion.
Jeffrey Yass of Haverford, co-founder and CEO of Susquehanna International Group, is the world’s 28th richest person, with a $67.4 billion fortune, according to Forbes.
His firm is one of the largest shareholders in ByteDance, the parent company of TikTok.
David Adelman of Haverford, part-owner of the Philadelphia 76ers, has a $2.4 billion fortune.
Philadelphia Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie of Wynnewood saw his net worth rise to $7.6 billion from $5.3 billion in 2025.
Michael Rubin of Bryn Mawr, the founder and CEO of sports merchandising giant Fanatics, has a $9.6 billion fortune.
John Middleton of Bryn Mawr is the Philadelphia Phillies managing partner and has a net worth of $4.3 billion.
