No updated COVID-19 county or municipal statistics, including the number of new cases and COVID-19 deaths, were available for Monday, June 8, from the Chester County Health Department.

The week of May 28 to June 3 saw positive case counts of new cases in Delaware County continue to drop, however, according to the Chester County Health Department.

That week showed only 123 cases, compared to 214 the week before.

A month ago, the county was experiencing weekly rates of 384 positive cases.

The Pennsylvania Department of Health confirmed as of Tuesday, June 8, that there were 747 additional cases statewide. The total number of cases stands at 1,206,439.

There were 41 additional COVID-19 deaths reported statewide for Tuesday, June 8. Total deaths statewide are now 27,395.
