Saladworks has decided to expand its restaurants in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, with new stores planned in the coming months for Media and Springfield, according to a Saladworks release reported at WFMZ.com.

Saladworks was founded 30 years ago in New Jersey and has its headquarters in Conshohocken.

The company has been expanding as it taps into the needs of the health-conscious consumer, with new stores in California, Indiana and North Carolina.  Now it’s turning its focus back to its’ home market..

Other Pennsylvania locations include Trexlertown, Quakertown, Royersford, and Fort Washington.

Saladworks is looking for franchise partners to open the new restaurants.

A local training program for franchisees will teach them the fundamentals to run a successful restaurant.

“Because Saladworks already has a significant presence in its home market and awareness of our concept is extremely high, we continue to see great demand for our original and fresh salads,” said Eric Lavinder, VP of Franchise Development.

Saladworks has grown by 28 restaurant locations so far in 2020 and has deals in the pipeline for more next year.

Its retail strategy is to focus on non-traditional locations like universities, ghost kitchens, military bases and “stores within stores.”
