Penn State Great Valley’s John Sosik One of PSU’s 10 Distinguished Professors for 2020

Penn State’s Office of the Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs has named John J. Sosik, professor of management and organization at Penn State Great Valley, as one of the university’s 10 distinguished professors for 2020.

The distinguished professor title recognizes outstanding academic contribution to the university. This special academic title is bestowed upon a limited number of outstanding professors for whom endowed chairs or professorships are otherwise unavailable.

Sosik, who earned his Ph.D. from the State University of New York at Binghamton, has received awards for excellence in research, faculty innovation, teaching, and service. He is an internationally recognized expert on leadership, teams, and mentoring, having published more than 100 books, book chapters, articles, and conference proceedings.

Sosik has also given more than 90 conference presentations and provided training and consulting to a variety of corporate, military, educational, and not-for-profit organizations.
