This photo of a meeting at Power Home Remodeling, courtesy of YouTube, shows an overwhelming number of millennials among the Chester-based company's staff.

Power Home Remodeling in Chester came in 7th on the list of the “Best Large Workplace for Millenials 2019” compiled by Fortune and Great Place to Work, writes Kris Rhim for Philadelphia Business Journal.

The list featured 75 companies. Philadelphia’s Comcast also made the list, at 56.

Fortune recognized the employers for supporting the generation that “changes jobs frequently and appreciates firms with strong values.”

Companies had to have at least 50 millennials employed. Survey questions focused on millennial beliefs that their company would allow them to reach their full potential.

Power Home Remodeling’s seventh positon is one spot below where they finished last year.  Ninety two percent of the company’s 2,600 employees are millennials.

Employees told Great Place to Work, “You are given the space and resources to make your own decisions. I love having the freedom and trust to make important decisions. It has helped me grow exponentially professionally.”

Survey results show that more than 96 percent of respondents feel it is a great place to work and feel welcome when they joined the company. The surveyed also revealed that most employees stay at the company for fewer than two years.
