On the Table, a national movement first launched in Chicago in 2014, is a forum designed to engage area residents in an open dialogue, foster new relationships, and inspire solutions to strengthen communities.

On Tuesday, May 23, On the Table is coming to Philadelphia and, by extension, Delaware County.

Delco residents will have the opportunity to gather in small groups in three different locations – Chester, Media, and Upper Darby – to share a meal and discuss the opportunities and issues we face in our region.

These conversations can inspire new ways we can work together to make our communities stronger and more dynamic.

The dinner will be generously provided by the Crozer-Keystone Community Foundation and the co-host of each location.

“As the new foundation serving all of Delaware County, it made complete sense for the Crozer-Keystone Community Foundation to bring On the Table from Philly to the ‘burbs,” said Frances Sheehan, President of the Crozer-Keystone Community Foundation.

“We’re honored to partner with three strong local organizations – Media Fellowship House, the Boys & Girls Club of Chester, and Upper Darby Weed & Seed – to host dinners in their three towns. They know from deep experience that ours is a generous community of diverse neighborhoods where folks love to get together over dinner and meet new people. We look forward to being part of conversations that will help make our communities even stronger.”
