Rose Valley is the only Delco locale to rank among Niche.com’s 25 Best Places to Live in Greater Philadelphia, a list dominated by towns in Montgomery and Chester counties, writes Clara Lefton for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

The site aims to help people discover schools and neighborhoods that are the right fit for them within 25 miles of the City of Philadelphia. It covers factors such as the cost of living, public schools, real estate, and crime and safety.

Rose Valley, which checked in at No. 7, has a population of 921 and a lot to be proud of, judging by its scores in each category.

The median home value in Rose Valley is $534,600, significantly more than the national average of $178,600.
