Crozer-Keystone’s Home Health department has proven its quality once again by ranking in the Top 25 percent of Medicare-certified home health agencies nationwide, according to a staff report from HomeCare Elite.

This is the ninth time in the past 11 years that the Delaware County home health provider has been awarded this prestigious designation. The listing is compiled by DecisionHealth, a publisher of healthcare business and regulatory news and analysis, and Ability Network, a prominent healthcare information technology company.

Winners are selected through the use of data available to the public from Home Health Compare and the Centers for Medicare and Medicare Services Cost Reports. The Elite designation was awarded to 2,353 agencies out of 9,406 based on an analysis of cumulative performance measures, including the quality of care, patient experience, and financial performance.

“I’m very proud of the Home Health staff,” said Jane Hanahan, Administrative Director of Crozer-Keystone Home Health and Hospice. “We have a great team with many years of service, most for over 15 years or longer, and we work extremely well together. For patients, this is verification that we provide outstanding home-care services.”
