COVID-19 statistics for Delaware County were unavailable from the Chester County Health Department for Sunday, Sept. 13.

The latest statistics available from The Pennsylvania Department of Health show 10,857 cases of COVID-19 in Delaware County as of Saturday, Sept. 12.

State statistics do not include a municipal breakdown of COVID-19 cases.

The Chester County Health Department reported 780 COVID-19 related deaths for Delaware County as of Friday, Sept. 11.  Of those, 604 were in long term care facilities and personal care homes, according to data from the Chester County Health Department.

There were 886 additional positive cases of COVID-19 in Pennsylvania as of Saturday, Sept. 12. Pennsylvania is now listing a total of 143,881 cases.

There were no new deaths reported statewide as of Saturday, Sept. 12, with the total remaining at the same level as Friday, Sept. 11, at 7,837, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Health.

Statewide, 1,664,000  people have tested negative for the virus.
