Director of Finance and Administration, College of Engineering

This position is responsible for directing and supervising all budgetary and administrative related tasks for the College of Engineering and is responsible for providing strategic and analytical support to the leadership team. He/she will prepare consolidated budgets which aggregate all College departments and operations, and develop and maintain a budgeting system for the College leadership. The person will develop and ensure adherence to timelines related to the budget process.

The ideal candidate will possess an MBA or Master’s Degree in accounting or finance. He/she should have in-depth knowledge of principles and practices related to budget development and financial analysis, as well as familiarity with generally accepted accounting principles for not-for-profit higher education organizations. The person should have the ability to understand and solve complex problems which require extensive follow-up with both internal and external constituencies.

Director, Connelly Center

This position directs and supervises the Connelly Center, the university center that supports the educational, social, cultural, and recreational needs of the university community, operating within and embracing the philosophy and mission of Villanova University. He/she establishes the overall standards of performance through selection of administrative personnel, budgetary controls, and overall thrust and direction of programs and services. The person serves as the primary communication link between the Connelly Center and other campus departments and the community.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Social Sciences, or Education. He/she should have seven to ten years in administrative experience in a college/university center or closely related field at a smaller college or university as an assistant director, program director, or an administrator of a community center or residence hall complex. The person will have a well-developed talent for the leadership of a College or University Center.

Senior Enterprise Project Manager

This position is responsible for the overall coordination, status reporting, and stability of project-oriented work efforts commissioned or approved by UNIT’s Office of the CIO group. He/she is responsible for assembling project plans and teamwork assignments, directing and monitoring work efforts on a daily basis, identifying resource needs and escalating functional, quality, timeline issues appropriately. The person is also responsible for reporting key project milestones and adjusting project plans and/or resources to meet the needs of the customer, internal and external to UNIT.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in computer science/information systems or a related field. He/she should have eight to ten years of IT work experience, including five or more years of managing projects. Experience with projects in multiple technologies and functions is required.
