Associate Director, Advancement Analytics

This position spearheads projects involving predictive modeling, forecasting, reporting, data mining, and statistical analysis in order to guide the identification, engagement, and solicitation of prospects by advancement staff, college leadership, and college volunteers.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree, a minimum of two years of experience in analytics, a minimum of two years of experience in a fundraising environment, and experience working with relational databases and extracting and manipulating data.

Manager of Administration, Custodial Services

This position develops and manages the environmental services department’s operating budget, sustainability efforts, and training programs, and develops and promotes the department’s quality assurance program.

The ideal candidate will possess a post-secondary degree, a minimum of 10 years of progressive supervisory and management experience, and the physical ability to perform housekeeping work, including operating power equipment.

Garden Supervisor

This position provides timely and reliable support for supervision of gardeners, directly performs gardening care and maintenance of the Scott Arboretum’s plant collections, and performs other campus grounds-keeping duties.

The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma and formal training in horticulture or related science from a two- or four-year accredited program, five to seven years of gardening and horticulture experience, and two to three years of supervisory experience in a related position.

Investment Analyst

This position supports the investment team with investment manager diligence, ongoing portfolio analysis, and other investment-related support in the management of Swarthmore College’s $1.8 billion endowment.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree, interest in a broad range of investment topics, and knowledge of financial and investment history, economic and political history, and an understanding of the current investment environment.
