PHL Welcomes New Soft Pretzel, Beer Spot into its Lineup of Eateries

Last week, Philadelphia International Airport welcomed a brand-new Philly-inspired restaurant concept serving soft pretzels and local beers.

Philadelphia International Airport recently welcomed a new restaurant serving up delicious soft pretzels and local beer, writes Emma Dooling for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

Pretzels & Pints opened in Terminal A-East last week and features seating for 30 diners across its 1,500 square feet.

The new eatery takes inspiration from Philadelphia’s street food culture, with its aluminum Airstream trailer-style counter and string lights and foliage reminiscent of the city’s outdoor dining setups.

Customers can peruse their menu of Philly-themed bites, which includes soft pretzels with melted Cooper Sharp cheese, cheesesteak eggrolls, and breakfast dishes made with Taylor pork roll.

In terms of local brews, the restaurant will offer a selection of beers from spots like Conshohocken Brewing Co., Tröegs Independent Brewing of Hershey, and Victory Brewing Co.

Grab-and-go options like sandwiches, salads, and Herr’s snacks will also be available to purchase for those in more of a hurry.

The eatery is a collaboration between food, beverage, and retail operators M2 Concepts LLC and The Grove Inc. The Grove, a woman-owned business, also operates the Philly Pretzel Factory in Terminal F as well as the PrimoHoagies in Terminal A-East.

MarketPlace PHL, which runs the airport’s dining and retail operations, has welcomed a variety of local brands in recent years, including Federal Donuts and Chicken, Insomnia Cookies, Sabrina’s Cafe, and Oyster House.
