Insomnia Cookies Now Open at Philadelphia International Airport

Insomnia Cookies will offer its classic and deluxe cookies, as well as the chain's ice cream blended with cookie pieces and "other travel-friendly treats" to Philadelphia International Airport travelers.

Whether you’re hanging at the airport waiting for a flight to come in or leave, need to nurse a sweet tooth on arrival, or if you just want to take a sweet part of Philadelphia back home with you, Insomnia Cookies is now open for business at the Philadelphia International Airport.

Located in Terminal C, the late-night bakery has opened its first-ever airport location, writes Cherise Lynch for NBC 10 Philadelphia.

It’s part of the “Founded in Philly” group of restaurants and shops opening at the airport.

The airport bakery features its numerous warm treats, from Double Chocolate Chunk and Confetti Deluxe to White Chocolate Macadamia. There’s also ice cream, brookies, and Cookie’wiches.

Insomnia Cookies also carries Philadelphia-themed merchandise, including sweatshirts, water bottles, and more.

The airport cookie counter is open 4:30 a.m. to 11 p.m., seven days a week.

Insomnia Cookies was founded in 2003 by University of Pennsylvania alum Seth Berkowitz, who recognized the late-night cravings of college students.

The brand has gone on to open in nearly 350 locations across the U.S., Canada, and the U.K.

The maintains its Philly routes by keeping its headquarters in Philadelphia.
