Accounting Specialist

Dunwoody Village is seeking a full-time career-oriented Accounting Specialist. Resumes will be accepted until April 20, 2026.

Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Accounting Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing journal entries and reconciliations, supporting the month-end close, and ensuring the timely processing of payroll and vendor payments in compliance with organizational policies and applicable regulations.

The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and experience in both accounting and transactional processing.

How you will make an impact:

  • Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, prepaids, and adjustments.
  • Maintain and reconcile the general ledger and bank accounts monthly.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Track fixed assets and assist with depreciation schedules.
  • Assist with audit preparation, including gathering documentation and schedules.
  • Process vendor invoices and ensure proper coding, approvals, and documentation.
  • Prepare and issue payments via check, ACH, and other approved methods.
  • Maintain vendor files, W-9 documentation, and 1099 reporting.
  • Process bi-weekly payroll, ensuring accuracy of pay, deductions, and benefits.
  • Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll requirements.
  • Prepare and reconcile payroll-related journal entries and account balances.
  • Assist with the implementation and maintenance of automated AP and payroll systems.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and accounting standards.
  • Participate in process improvement and internal control procedures.
  • Maintain compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Foster a culture of excellence by demonstrating technical and management proficiency, initiative, and leadership aligned with the mission, vision, and values of Dunwoody Village.

What you will need:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an Accounting Specialist/Staff Accountant – preferably in CCRC/Healthcare setting.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting strongly preferred.
  • Excellent customer service experience when working with residents, staff, and vendors.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/payroll software (Dayforce, ADP, UKG, Sage, PointClickCare (PCC), or similar).
  • Strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Central Supply Clerk

Dunwoody Village is currently hiring for a Part-time Central Supply Clerk.

Overall, the position will be responsible for receiving, recording, storing, issuing and delivering supplies and equipment for all areas of the Care Center.

This part-time position will be scheduled for 22.5 hours per week. Qualified applicants should meet the following criterion:

  • High level of interpersonal skills.
  • Previous experience as a Central Supply Clerk; 1 year of experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of computers; numerical ability; knowledge of medical supplies and equipment.
  • Detail oriented and good organizational skills

Technology Support Manager

Dunwoody Village is seeking an experienced and service‑oriented Technology Support Manager to lead and evolve technology support services for residents and staff.  This role blends IT leadership, project management, and customer service within a mission‑driven senior living environment.

How you will make an impact:

  • Supervise technical teams, define performance objectives, provide mentorship, and coordinate professional development.
  • Technical and System Support: Manage support process including resident / staff support, on boarding, off boarding residents, staff and board members as well as access level changes.
  • Project Management: Oversee technology projects from planning to execution, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and alignment with business needs.
  • System Oversight: Work with MSP to monitor and maintain IT systems, networks, and applications to ensure operational continuity, security, and reliability.
  • Vendor and Stakeholder Management: Manage/coordinate relationships with external vendors, service providers, and internal stakeholders, including contract negotiation and technology assessments.
  • Policy and Compliance: Establish and enforce best practices, IT policies, cybersecurity protocols, data governance, and disaster recovery plans to meet regulatory standards.
  • Training and Support: Provide technical guidance and training to internal teams, ensuring proper use of technology and adherence to company policies. Develop general training for resident support.

Education:

  • A bachelor’s degree in computer-related degree or equivalent experience.

Experience:

  •  3+ years in technology project management or IT leadership role.

Skills:

  • Project management, analytical, support processes, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with IT infrastructure, cloud computing, software as a service and project management tools.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration abilities to bridge technical teams and staff/residents.
