Personal Care Nurse Manager

Dunwoody Village is seeking a full-time Personal Care Nurse Manager. Candidates must be a PA, Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or Registered Nurse (RN).

The PC Nurse Manager is responsible for overall clinical supervision of PC and Memory Support (MS) team members. 

Key responsibilities for this exempt-level leadership position include the following:

  • Comprehensive onboarding, training, and mentoring of PC and MS staff.
  • Planning educational programs, staff meetings, and a positive work culture.
  • Flexibility to have a presence on evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Ensuring that the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services regulations/guidelines are followed.
  • Participate in nursing leadership weekend coverage rotation.

This highly visible position partners directly with the Personal Care Administrator and Memory Care Nurse Manager to establish goals and assists with overall management as the designee in the absence of the Administrator. 

This is a “hands-on” supervisory position, and the candidate may be asked to assist with daily nursing duties as needed. This position will also be required to work an on-call weekend rotation.

Qualified candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of personal care and/or memory care experience with excellent assessment and clinical skills.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years in a supervisory role and a strong willingness to hold employees accountable for maintaining the highest levels of nursing standards and professionalism.
  • Must be a PA-licensed Registered Nurse (RN) or PA-licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with current CPR certification.
  • Strong working knowledge of 55 PA Code Chapter 2600- Personal Care Homes Regulations required.
  • Strong working knowledge of incident reports, RASPs, DMEs, and admission protocols, and the ability and desire to ensure that team members are fully knowledgeable in the same.
  • Ability to effectively and efficiently work within a PointClickCare medical records system is strongly preferred.
  • Willing to embrace and educate on a person-directed approach to care.

Full-Time Groundskeeper

Dunwoody Village is currently seeking a dedicated and motivated individual for a full-time groundskeeper position.  The standard shift is from 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM Monday through Friday.

The groundskeeper is responsible for the following: 

  • Mulching, fertilizing, weeding, planting, pruning, shoveling, snow/leaf removal, and litter removal on the property.
  • Operation of landscape equipment and installation of seasonal decorations.
  • Must have a valid PA driver’s license to drive equipment and operate the truck with a snowplow during winter weather.
  • Various other duties as assigned by the Grounds Supervisor.

Position Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years old in order to use the equipment on the property.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a similar setting.
  • Willingness and ability to work in all weather conditions.  This position will need to be available during non-standard hours during significant winter weather events.
  • The ability to walk, stoop, kneel, climb, bend, and the ability to repeatedly lift, carry, push, pull, 50+ lbs.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills; ability to relate to others.  A keen interest in working with older adults is highly desirable.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Human Resources Assistant

Dunwoody Village is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level HR Assistant to join its Human Resources team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent college graduate or someone beginning their HR career.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, customer-service focused, and eager to learn. On-the-job training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and organize employee records, including filing and document management.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of HR processes and procedures.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR team across various functions.
