The William Hood Dunwoody Care Center achieved the prestigious “High Performing” rating – the highest possible recognition – for both short-term rehabilitation and long-term care.

The U.S. News badge is a widely recognized symbol of excellence in U.S. healthcare that is awarded by an unbiased trust agent.

This honor places Dunwoody Village among the top 19 percent of skilled nursing facilities nationwide, a testament to its unwavering commitment to quality care. The U.S. News badge represents a widely respected mark of excellence in U.S. healthcare.

To determine the Best Nursing Homes ratings, U.S. News evaluated each nursing home’s performance using a variety of quality measures obtained from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). The criteria included resident care, safety, staffing levels, retention, prevention of ER visits, and other critical quality measures.
