Honoring Businesses Making a Difference

Artisan Painting, based in Media, will receive the Small Business of the Year award. Founded in 2014 by partners Mike Lieber and Jon Dyer, the company has built a strong reputation for quality craftsmanship and exceptional customer service. Artisan provides residential interior and exterior painting, cabinet refinishing, finish carpentry, wallpaper installation, epoxy flooring, and home repair services throughout Delaware County and the surrounding region.

The Small Businessperson of the Year award will be presented to Danielle McNichol, owner of Fastest Labs in Broomall. In just one year, McNichol grew the business from a startup location into a multi-location operation generating strong monthly revenue, with additional sites planned in Philadelphia and Wilmington. Her company also secured a competitive statewide contract serving 17 Pennsylvania agencies. McNichol remains deeply committed to the Delaware County community through local partnerships and volunteer initiatives.

Celebrating its 50th anniversary, Moppert Brothers Collision Services Group will be recognized as Family Business of the Year. The second-generation company has long been known for its dedication to quality vehicle repair and safety, while also supporting local charities and families. As part of its milestone anniversary, the business has launched “50 acts of kindness” to benefit the community.

The Women-Owned Business of the Year award will go to Flashlight Marketing, founded in Springfield by Carly Spross in 2021. The agency has grown steadily by building strong relationships with local organizations and national clients, offering tailored marketing strategies and measurable results while actively supporting nonprofit initiatives throughout Delaware County.

The Community Impact Award will be presented to Everybody Eats Cafe, founded by Chef Stephanie Willis in Chester. What began as pandemic-era food giveaways has grown into a permanent cafe, catering business, and community gathering space. Today, the organization continues to address food insecurity while supporting workforce development and community engagement in Chester and the surrounding area.

A Gathering of Delaware County’s Business Community

The Small Business Awards Breakfast is more than a celebration. It is one of the region’s largest gatherings of local business and community leaders. More than 200 entrepreneurs, executives, nonprofit leaders, and community partners attend each year to celebrate the honorees, build relationships, and strengthen connections that support Delaware County’s economic growth.
