Tee Time Moves Indoors at Newly Opened Birds Nest Bar and Grille in Solebury

A new sports bar and restaurant in Solebury, Birds Nest Bar & Grille, recently opened in the former home of Jamie Hollander Gourmet Foods.

Birds Nest Bar & Grille, a new sports bar and restaurant in Solebury, opened its doors recently in the former home of Jamie Hollander Gourmet Foods, writes Michele Haddon for the Bucks County Courier Times.

Blending craft food and drinks with a family-friendly atmosphere and indoor golf simulator bays, the restaurant offers a casual yet upscale experience.

The concept was created by Herb Benjamin, Steve Grabowski, Bruce Lotier, Chris Probert, and Rob Whittenberger.

“We wanted to make it more of an elevated experience than the average sports bar with good food, the added benefit of the golf bays and a place where everyone can feel comfortable,” said Benjamin.

With more than forty years in the restaurant industry, Chef Bela Durst has collaborated with the partners to design a menu emphasizing classic pub fare, Philly-inspired sandwiches, and unique, specially crafted recipes.

Signature dishes include Korean Fried Chicken, Pork Italian, Hoisin BBQ Wings, Fish & Chips, Ribeye Cheesesteak “Wit,” and Beet Reuben.

Guests can also enjoy one of the three golf simulator bays available at the on-site Golf at the Nest.
