The solution is, obviously, to take home one of the cafe’s adoptable residents.

Here are some cat cafes in Chester County and in the region if you’re looking to take a drive.

The Black Cat CafeDevon. While cats are the star of the show in Devon, the Black Cat Cafe has an extensive menu featuring favorites like the pancake board, the Garfield Sampler, soups, sandwiches, and more. As a nonprofit owned and operated by PALS, all proceeds go towards taking care of injured, sick, or abandoned kitties.

Treetops Kitty CafeKennett Square. Founded in 2016, Treetops rescues cats on their way to overcrowded shelters. Their mission is to ensure every cat gets the second or third chance they deserve at a loving home. They successfully adopted out over 1,500 animals in their time as a rescue. Le Cat Cafe — Brewerytown. In Philadelphia, if you fancy a short drive, there are a couple more options for cat cafes. With a French-esque concept, Le Cat Cafe runs a professional ship, ensuring all kitties are well-taken care of and all humans follow the rules. It’s supported by a network of volunteers through Green Street Rescue, which focuses on rescuing stray cats and practicing Trap, Neuter, Return, Manage.

Get A GatoQueen Village. Also in the city, woman-owned Get A Gato’s mission is to find homes for as many cats as possible. With delicious Latin-inspired food and drinks, this is the perfect stop to pet a gato and fill up on empanadas. Plus, its logo represents the owner’s childhood cat, Oreo.
