An old car dealership building along Radcliffe Street in Bristol is being transformed into a family-friendly indoor food truck court, writes JD Mullane for the Bucks County Courier Times.
The man behind the project is Bernard Mazzocchi, who has spent millions over the years revitalizing old buildings throughout the riverside borough.
“I want to do food trucks,” he said about the building across from the King George Inn. “These are not food trucks that other people come in with, we own them.”
Specializing in a range of dishes such as pizza, fish and steaks, each truck will bring something unique to the space. The court will also feature a large sports bar area, an outdoor patio with a fireplace and Mazzocchi is also planning on expanding with a rooftop restaurant with a bar.
“If it’s set up effectively computer-wise, you’d order food from a truck and there would be runners who bring your food to you,” he said. “It would be a family-friendly place, totally within walking distance if you’re in town.”
The business is set to open sometime next year.
