New Triple Crown Restaurant in Radnor Hotel Themes Equestrian

Fearless Restaurant's Triple Crown in the Radnor Hotel has an equestrian theme.,

Fearless Restaurants has opened Triple Crown, its new restaurant and event center at the Radnor Hotel, offering a classic American menu of chops, a raw bar, and club sandwiches, writes Michael Klein for The Philadelphia Inquirer.

The theme is horses and equestrian life in a Ralph Lauren club house atmosphere. The path to the bar, for example, has hooks holding tack, polo helmets, mallets, and jockey jerseys from antique and consignment shops.

Triple Crown’s theme is close to the heart of Sydney Grims. She runs Fearless Restaurants with her father, Marty. The restaurant group is known for its White Dog Cafes, along with the Moshulu, Rosalie, Testa Rossa, Autograph, and Louie Louie.

Grims has been riding horses since age three and points out that Triple Crown is a good fit for the Main Line’s long equestrian history.  The Main Line is home to both the Devon Horse Show and the Radnor Hunt.

“We wanted to create a really cozy restaurant that felt like you were stepping into an old estate on the Main Line,” she said.

By September, an exterior garden will feature a glasshouse conservatory and a sailcloth tent.
