The first phase of the Triple Crown event and restaurant space has opened at the Radnor Hotel.

Fearless Restaurants has opened the first phase of its Triple Crown Restaurant, Events and Garden venue at the Radnor Hotel in Wayne, writes Emma Dooling for Philadelphia Business Journal.

Hotel owner Stephen Bajus approached Fearless last August asking if they could operate the hotel’s restaurant and event space.

The first event took place there April 6. There are about 70 events booked since the new venue was announced in January.

“We’re giving people access to being able to have this all-in-one place. So it’s like, you could have guests stay here, you could have your rehearsal dinner up the street at Autograph or here at Triple Crown, and then go into your event here on a Saturday,” said Fearless Restaurant’s Sydney Grims.

Triple Crown’s equestrian theme, is designed to emulate a Ralph Lauren lifestyle. It was designed by Barbara Balongue of Villanova-based Balongue Design

Fearless Restaurant’s phase 2 Triple Crown project is to demolish the existing Glenmorgan Bar & Grill space and create a Triple Crown restaurant. It plans to open in the fall.

The third phase will be an overhaul of the hotel’s outdoor garden space.
