Big Changes and Big Bets Coming to Valley Forge Casino Resort

King of Prussia's Valley Forge Casino Resort launches multi-year revamp with new rooms, eateries, and gaming updates.

A major transformation is underway at Valley Forge Casino Resort, writes Emma Dooling for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

The King of Prussia mainstay rolls the dice on a multimillion-dollar, multi-year renovation aimed at refreshing its offerings and drawing new crowds to Montgomery County.

The first wave of upgrades is nearly complete. The 261-room Stardust Tower is getting a mid-century Las Vegas-style makeover—complete with a redesigned lobby. That’s just the beginning: Boyd Gaming, which bought the property in 2018, is also renovating the 36,000-square-foot gaming floor and launching two new dining destinations.

The newly reopened food hall already features four eateries: American Grill, Peng Zu Express, Café Primo, and Taqueria Buena. Up next? An all-day restaurant concept in the Stardust Tower and a 6,800-square-foot steakhouse and cigar bar.

“There’s a lot of things happening in King of Prussia,” said General Manager Martha Morales, who joined from Las Vegas’ Orleans Hotel & Casino. “We can’t be left behind.”

Casino updates will include a revamped high-limit slot area and lounge-style bar seating. Morales hinted that the changes will boost staffing beyond the casino’s current 650 employees.

With rising iGaming and sports betting revenues, Valley Forge Casino Resort is doubling down on growth in Montgomery County.
