Aeromexico Creates Direct Flights to Mexico From Philadelphia

Aeroméxico and Delta are adding direct flights to Mexico City from Philadelphia International Airport.

Attention all fliers! A new direct flight by the airline Aeromexico to Mexico City will be available for the first time from Philadelphia International Airport on June 5, 2025, writes Stella Shon for Travel + Leisure Magazine.

Flights will be offered daily from PHL to Aeropuerto Internacional Benito Juárez. Since its creation in 1940, the Philadelphia airport has never offered nonstop flights into Mexico

Partnering with Delta Airlines, the flag carrier Aeroméxico added the route as it expands its U.S. network along the East Coast

“This addition brings the total number of destinations connected between the two countries to 26, operating across 57 routes with a daily joint operation of over 90 flights,” according to a Aeromexico statement announcing the flight.

The airline will use a Boeing 737 MAX-8 to transport passengers to and from both airports. 166 seats will be available, and the flight will have Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and charging outlets.

The first flight will take off from PHL at 10:02 a.m., landing in Mexico City at 12:55 p.m. A return flight is scheduled to depart from Mexico City the same day at 1:35 p.m., arriving in Philadelphia at 8:25 p.m.
