CNN is hosting an Oct. 23 Delaware County town hall with Vice President Kamala Harris, but the location has not yet been revealed.
Some Delconians have weighed in on social media with their own suggestions on where the town hall should be held, Delco precious locations near and dear to Delco, writes Stephanie Farr for The Philadelphia Inquirer.
1.Wawa University, Delaware County’s most famous school.
2. Pica’s, an Upper Darby staple since 1956 and beloved by generations.
3. The Kelce house. Jason Kelce and his wife Kylie live in Haverford but seem to be everywhere and have embraced Delaware County.
4.Subaru Park, home to the Philadelphia Union in Chester with nice views of the Delaware River.
5. Llanerch Diner, famous for those scenes in Silver Linings Playbook.
6.Putt-Putt in Clifton Heights, Delco’s miniature golf hub for 50 years.
7. Booths Corner in Garnet Valley where you can find just about everything.
8 Tom N Jerry’s in Ridley Township known for live music and roast beef sandwiches.
9. Linvilla Orchards, the 300-acre Media farm that’s a focal point every fall.
10. Monsignor Bonner and Archbishop Prendergast Catholic High School, reflecting Delco’s large Catholic high school culture.
