See What’s New This Season at Bates Motel & Haunted Hayride

Bates Motel & Haunted Hayride continues to add new elements to its fright night experience.

The Bates Motel & Haunted Hayride has been terrifying people now at the Arasapha Farm in Glen Mills for 34 years, writes Rachel Moore for PHL17 News.

And people love it. The attraction continues to draw in fans from around the country searching for a thrilling experience.

This year, Arasapha Farm has added new frightening larger-than-life scenes, animatronics, pyrotechnics, and giant props across its grounds as visitors are immersed in the experience.

“We have huge sets on our corn trail, which is a little different from what most people do. We have a lot of special effects, the animatronics and it really sets us apart,” said Ben Beatty, owner of the Bates Motel & Haunted Hayride.

The attraction utilizes more than 100 characters onsite to scare visitors on their journey. It takes about 45 minutes for the actors to get into costume and makeup.

Fear is everywhere—on the hayride trail, at the motel, and through the corn maze. Guests will find relative safety closer to the photo booth and eating areas.

The attraction runs through Nov. 3. Tickets are available online at Buy Tickets to The Bates Motel & Haunted Hayride.
