Certara, a technology company that specializes in biosimulation software which helps with drug discovery and development, has moved its corporate headquarters to Radnor, writes John George for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

Its 15,672 square-foot headquarters are located on the third floor of Brandywine Realty Trust’s Four Radnor Corporate Center. The headquarters had previously been in Princeton, New Jersey.

The 16-year-old company has 1,400 employees in 30 countries around the world, including 120 employees in Pennsylvania.

Certara CEO Bill Feehery said the company wants a centralized location convenient for staff and close to customers.

“This is about getting people together,” Feehery said prior to the relocation. “It’s fine to work from home, but it is also important for people to build bonds [with their colleagues.]

“Another reason we chose Radnor is we serve a lot of biopharmaceutical companies, and this is the middle of the East Coast pharmaceutical corridor.,” Feehery said.

The Radnor office also has a large training area with space for up to 130 people.

Moving to Radnor will be like coming home for Feehery, who was a student at Archbishop Carroll High School across the street from the new office.
