People like Jeff DeVuono see future possibilities, like a new hotel and office development at the Penn Medicine campus in Radnor, writes Michael Bradly for Main Line Today.

It would be the first of its kind in Radnor in 30 years, where available land has been scarce. DeVuono, Brandywine Realty Trust’s executive vice president, is pretty excited about the project at 155 Radnor.

The project was set to debut later this year and includes 145,000 square feet of rentable space and a luxury hotel.

It will be part of Brandywine’s 26.6-acre Penn Medicine campus on King of Prussia Road.

Philadelphia architecture firm Ballinger designed 155 Radnor, emphasizing productivity, quality of life and a comfortable work space. Eric Swanson is the lead architect on the 155 Radnor project.

It will feature high ceilings, large windows, attractive views and open spaces.

There will be walking paths, outdoor seating, biking/walking trails, work areas and gardens.

“Everything is about the live-work-play environment,” DeVuono says. “People also want to stay healthy and connected.”

The emphasis will be on the healing effects of nature. The building will be mostly glass and a parking garage will allow maximum green space.
