White Dog Café Owner to Open 2nd Testa Rossa Restaurant in Wayne

Even as Fearless Restaurants builds a Testa Rossa restaurant in Glen Mills, it is planning a second one in Wayne.

Fearless Restaurants is on the move. Even as it develops its casual Italian-American restaurant Testa Rossa in Glen Mills, it’s planning a second location in Wayne, writes Emma Dooling for Philadelphia Business Journal.

Fearless Restaurants is the owner of the popular White Dog Cafe chain.

The new Wayne restaurant at 523 W. Lancaster Ave. will replace a shuttered Bertucci’s restaurant.

An opening date is pending.

Fearless Restaurants, run by Marty Grims and daughter Sydney Grims, owns three other restaurants in Wayne—Rosalie, offering Italian soul food; a White Dog Café; and the American restaurant Autograph Brasserie, which will be down the street from the new Testa Rossa.

“The property became available, and it is right in our backyard, so we decided this would be a good spot for our second Testa Rossa,” Marty Grims said in a statement.

Fearless Restaurants is also developing a restaurant and event space at The Radnor Hotel in Wayne, converting the existing space there into the Triple Crown Restaurant, Events, and Garden.

The first Testa will debut in Glen Mills sometime this summer.

Chef Merick Devine of Rosalie will head up culinary operations at both locations.
