The Amazon Prime documentary 'Kelce' about Jason Kelce, has been nominated for two Emmy Awards.

The popular Prime Time documentary Kelce, which highlighted Jason Kelce’s football career and family life, has been nominated for two Emmy Awards at the 45th Sports Emmy Awards on May 21.

The ‘Kelce’ Emmy nominations were for outstanding long documentary and outstanding editing, writes Natasha Dye for People.

The documentary was created by Delaware County native Sheena Joyce and Don Argott.

Kelce premiered Sept. 12 and debuted at No. 1 in October on Amazon’s Prime Video. It has stayed in the Top 5 since.

The documentary followed Kelce, 36, as he navigated his time in the NFL, his struggle with deciding to retire, and his concerns as a father to three young daughters.

Besides Jason Kelce, the documentary features Jason’s parents, Donna and Ed Kelce; his wife, Kylie, and brother, Travis.

At the time the documentary reached No. 1, Kelce and Travis joked on their New Heights podcast that Travis’ girlfriend, Taylor Swift, may have contributed to the film’s popularity.

“All because of you and me, doesn’t have anything to do with this Taylor Swift drama,” Jason Kelce said.

“Everybody is just so interested in the family dynamic,” Travis said of the film’s success.
