Chadds Ford and Havertown hold the honors this year of having three companies that made Inc.’s list of the 32 fastest-growing Northeast firms in the Philadelphia area.

The three companies join an increasing number of local firms that made the list, 32 this year compared to 26 last year, out of 198 companies looked at in the Northeast, writes Ryan Mulligan for Philadelphia Business Journal.

The FIT Collective in Chadds Ford, a health and fitness company, ranked 75^th out of the 198, experiencing a 248 percent growth.

Tektree Systems, an IT and consulting service also out of Chadds Ford, ranked 149^th out of 198, seeing a 98 percent growth.

O’Donnell Roofing, providing roofing services, operating in Havertown, placed 192^nd on the list, with a 54 percent growth.

Growth was based on revenue from 2020 to 2022. 

The Philadelphia metro was the second most well-represented in the Northeast, behind New York.

The Northeast region comprises Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine.

This year saw 18 new local companies make Inc.’s Northeast list.

The Greater Philadelphia companies cover about one-sixth of the overall list.
